You call this acting like a Christian? WOW!

Wow, I didn't know staunch CHRISTIANS used the term "BFE" ! which for those that don't know, stands for Bump F*ck Egypt. Amazing.

J, Keep reading. Actually, Raye Dawn's mother and grandmother sold their homes, land, and cars to pay for her defense. They paid almost $100,000 for her first attorney and because of the media attention, she's had to now hire Steven Jones who defended Timothy Mcveigh (the guy who bombed the Federal Building in OKC). Her family is pulling together all their resources and we've been working on getting donations. The paternal family was even on the news when I first put up the freekelseysmom site and they were complaining because we were asking for donations. The public and the paternal family put Raye Dawn where she is, they should help pay as far as I'm concerned. However, despite the huge price tag for her original attorney he had no experts in her trial. His specialty is said to be personal injury. The one point that wasn't in her request for a mistrial was ineffective counsel and that's the one point the judge said he would have granted. So...

Raye Dawn's daughter died in Meeker, Oklahoma. It's a tiny, one stoplight town in the middle of BFE. Her attorney requested a change of venue and the judge moved the trial to Bristow, which is about 10 miles away from the Lincoln County line. The Tulsa media had spent just as much time reporting the paternal family's side of the case as the OKC media did. The change of venue was a joke!

J, it's no problem at all! You can't offend me. I've been stomped on so much since July, 2007, that my shell is as tough as nails now. I knew where you were going; I was just explaining the details of the case. What I'm telling you isn't easily available to read because there are so many details that it's impossible to put it all out there and have people understand. I'm just giving the you the Cliff's Notes on the case.

FYI, the paternal family is seen locally as "white trash." The paternal grandmother was called "white trash" by the now judge who she helped unseat the former judge who presided over Kelsey's custody case. His book gives great insight and a lot of details. You can read the first chapter at www.judgekey.com.

It's said that the paternal grandmother is on disability, her husband has some sort of small construction company, and the father of Kelsey is on disability. He supposedly was in Iraq for what I've nailed down as approximately two months driving a truck when he had an accident. He was sent to Fort Benning, GA and put in a mental hospital, some say for his addiction to pain pills (he's been in rehab five times) and his sister said it's because his wife wanted a divorce. His mother was fighting his ex-wife for custody of his daughter because she was supposedly being abused and that didn't put him in a hospital, but his wife wanting a divorce did? Many are arguing because the paternal family supporters make it sound like he was in Iraq when his daughter died when he actually was in a mental hospital in Fort Benning, GA and he now lives off the government. He was discharged from the military in October, 2005. I think he was in for a year, total. He was stationed most of the time in Missouri and drove to Oklahoma weekly. He was in Oklahoma the day of one of the custody hearings but chose not to go. In fact, he didn't attend a single hearing and for all but one of them he was in Oklahoma or Missouri.

In this case, Raye Dawn's family is considered the better family societal-wise and the paternal family, not so much. However, the paternal family has ties with the Governor of Oklahoma, they passed a law in the little girl's name, and the records of the little girl should have been released, according to Oklahoma law and officials refuse to release the records (this has allowed the paternal grandmother to lie about what's in those records and the judge's book dispels those lies), and the paternal family has been all over the media and on Fox Network's The Big Story Weekend. For some reason, there has been a flip in the two families. The better, more established and secure family was attacked and the family that has history with the local police, drug issues, and the paternal grandmother, herself, who gave up her children for two years telling the DA in 1979, "If you don't take them, I'll kill them." She now owns and runs a website that is supposed to fight child abuse and puts down mothers? Come on! That family is the one that is looked upon as the better one because of what the media has portrayed them to be.

This entire case is twisted and makes no sense until you look at the paternal family and their level of hatred for Raye Dawn and her entire family. The paternal grandmother tried to go after Raye Dawn's mom as she had Raye Dawn and wanted her in prison as well. The paternal grandmother was on her forum less than a month after her grandchild died bragging about how she had to install a second phone line because the media was calling so much. What does that tell you?

J1,

My favorite pic is the one of LB standing next to Kelsey's grave in full uniform. He had been discharged 6 months prior.

Actually, NM, it was two months prior. He was discharged in October, 2005 right after he was released from the mental hospital, not Iraq, and the pic was taken in December, 2005.

IF Lance is drawing disability from being injured as a soldier in the US Army, I certainly do not find that "hilarious".....how sad....

I agree!!!! What do DHS workers make anyway? His attorneys are working on contingency. How would he pay them even if he won?? He draws disability from the government! Hilarious!!!

Also, google shawnee news star and look for the article where Smothermon is trying to get a job with the Oklahoma Worker's comp court as a judge. He wants out of office and I'm sure Kathie has a lot to do with it. Read the comments about him too. He's had two huge cases and he hired outside attorneys to prosecute them both. Then he got an award for DA of the year or something. Makes you warm and fuzzy huh???

J, I don't believe that it was ever mentioned at RD's trial. Like I said, ineffective counsel. What bothers me most is that Kathie is out there putting down moms and judging everyone's parenting and look at what a great parent she was! It's disturbing.

I agree with the public forum policy. Although I've been threatened with a grand jury because I started a forum to deliver the facts. I've been threatened with lawsuits and told I'm doing nothing but bashing the Briggs. I've done nothing but post facts, their own words and actions, and give my opinion on those facts. They claim I'm breaking the law. How ridiculous! They even told their supporters they got a subpoena to identify me. Another lie. Now they're dragging more innocent people through the mud. Their hatred and abuse never stops. I think Lance is abusive because his mom is abusive. She just participates in a different kind of abuse. Instead of hitting women like he does she lies and publicly attacks. Abuse is abuse is abuse!

Of course I could post soo much more lies and deceipt and NON christian like behavior but it sickens me to read the hate and lies, so I am done with this.  I had originally intended to just post the "BFE" comment, but there was just so much more....it's everywhere!  Talk about PROMOTING HATE!!!

  1. Truth Seeker and some of her supporters have made those hideous claims about Kathie and Lance for years. It's sad, because finding out exactly where Lance was during the summer of 2005; is relatively easy. But, they seem to think that they get more play with their lies. And since when was Kathie trashing mothers? The moment Gayla took the stand and said, "We was just starting to watch him," she qualified HERSELF for the charge of enabling child abuse.
