Who's going to Free Kelsey & The Briggs From The Lies?

I try to not go to that facebook page they have for Raye Dawn, as it disgusts me every time I do.  People who know very little about the facts of this case, always spouting off.  People like Lysa Bartlett, who openly admitted that she had not read any of the documents, only watched youtube videos...trying to pretend to be an expert on the case and facts surrounding the case.  Her in particular needs a quick course in Law 101.  If she'd just learn the basics she would sound less ignorant.  Porter cannot be recharged with Murder.  No matter how bad ya want it, no matter how much ya wish & pray for it, it's not going to happen.  It's a little thing called Double Jeopardy.  Porter has been charged with murder and as a result of that charge plea bargained down and convicted.  RD on the other hand, has not yet been charged with murder, but she certainly can be.  For those too lazy to do their own research, I posted the legal definition of the word for you.


Misty & Lysa...you are right.  It IS the beginning of the end of the lies.  Every court hearing continues to show which side is based on the truth, which is why every court hearing does not turn out so good for your prison princess.  I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting on her release.  20+ years is a long time to try to hold your breath.

Lysa, although I'm sure of who told you this & just as sure that you have never researched it for yourself, let me set you straight on yet another lie that you posted and apparently believe.  The Briggs did not "force" the Smiths into paying for a seperate funeral.  The Smiths didn't pay for ANY funeral, the Victims Fund paid for it, well, all but $10, and that was written off.  "The Smiths" were the one's that were the cause of there being two funerals to begin with.  Raye Dawn went the day after her child died to file an order to keep Kelsey's daddy & paternal grandmother from attending her funeral.  They also told the funeral director that Kelsey's name was just Smith. 

You post over & over that there is enough evidence to put Kathie in jail for the rest of her life.  Get over it.  There is NO evidence because she has NOT broken the law.  Do you guys not have any faith in Stephen Jones?  Don't you think if there were ANY evidence of Kathie committing a crime that he would have brought that up during court?  Been all over the news demanding her arrest?  Once again, your wishing it, does not make it fact.  And I beg to differ, there IS plenty of evidence to prove Raye Dawn guilty of not only the crime she is convicted of, but more.  Smothermon didn't even have to use all of the evidence he had to convict her of the "enabling" charge and now that more evidence has come to light, it is my opinion that there IS enough to convict her of the MURDER of Kelsey.


Which brings me to something else I've seen posted.  "When Raye gets out she's going to tell everything she knows now".....really?  You mean Raye Dawn INTENTIONALLY withheld critical evidence in the murder of her daughter?  She blantantly lied to the OSBI?  Well, yes that was proven more than once I guess so that isn't a shocker.  So what are you saying?   Raye Dawn should be charged for withholding information and evidence in a murder investigation?  hhmmm...
See, this is the thing, IF Raye Dawn knew anything, she had her chance to tell it several times, not only to the OSBI but to her attorney's to use during her trial.  Now that she has been found guilty and has had time to make yet another story up...well people are going to see that for exactly what it is.  She had her day in court.  IF she withheld anything, that is her own fault, she can't just because she was found guilty, come back and say she knows more and will tell it if she's set free.  That will definately lead to more charges. 
I definately believe she knows more than she told, or will EVER tell for that matter.  Telling the truth now, would only implicate herself even more, so we know we are not going to be hearing any TRUTH coming out of her mouth.


Lysa, Lysa, Lysa....dear you can't take anything from this case and "turn it into what would be happening now if Kelsey were still here".....she's not...and she's not coming back.  You by your own admission don't know what the FACTS are, because you've not read them for yourself, so you can't take them and turn the into anything.   And just so you know, it was NOT Raye's suggestion for Kelsey to do the "role play therapy".  She sure wouldn't want THAT to happen, because then the truth about what she'd been doing to Kelsey would come out.  The "role play therapy" WOULD however be yet another motive for murder. 
I have to admit, I had to laugh with your "hypothetical" scenario of "how things would be now", when you said Raye was shocked when she found out Kathie was abusing Kelsey.  That would never have happened, only in Raye Supporters fantasy world dear.  YOU might actually be shocked at who really was abusing and killed Kelsey, IF you would ever read the documents, research the case for yourself and learn to THINK for yourself.  Or maybe you don't do any of that because you don't want to know the real truth?    The last paragraph of your "hypothetical" scenario, shows not only stupidity, but your ignorance and lack of knowledge of the real facts of this whole case.  There was however ONE true statement in that paragraph...where you said it sounds like Kathie knew Kelsey was going to die.  Maybe if you knew the true facts and saw all the pictures from that time period you would know why Kathie tho't Kelsey was going to die.  She was dying right in front of all of them!!  Deteriorating every single day!  And Kathie wasn't the only one who noticed that, but of course you only bring up Kathie trying to make her out to be the evil person in this case when you couldn't be further from the truth.  Don't you ever wonder dear why the Smith family is happy to share all of the few pics they can find of Raye & Kelsey where they appear to be happy?  And Kelsey healthy?  Don't you ever in your limited mind wonder why you never have seen any pictures of Kelsey during the last four months of her precious life?  Do you not wonder why they won't share any of those?  I mean come on....Kathie and the Briggs weren't around Kelsey those last four months.  So if they were the one's abusing Kelsey, then she should have improved during that time wouldn't you think?  But the fact is...she didn't.  She deteriorated at an alarming rate daily.  Did you know it was stated as fact by DHS that they noticed her condition was deteriorating with Raye Dawn ?  hhmmm...maybe THAT fact is part of the reason they lost the lawsuit against them.  The facts and the real truth definately show and prove who took care of Kelsey, who loved her and who tried everything to protect her, and it sure wasn't Raye Dawn Smith or any of her side of the family.  Sherri & Janet are becoming more vocal now....where exactly were they & their voices when Kelsey was going through all this horror?  Not to be found that's where.   They did nothing to protect or help that innocent, defenseless child, but they sure stand up for and defend RD don't they?  It's a shame....Kelsey unfortunately had their blood running through her veins too.  They should have done something for Kelsey...anything at all.  Poor Kelsey never had a chance with that family.  Thank God Blaine is safe and in a good place.  Thank God he will be a grown adult by the time his pathetic "mother" will be released from prison so he can thrive and survive and live and without all the drama and pathetic crap that surrounds his blood family.  Hopefully he can grow up and stay out of jail, away from the alcohol and drugs and all that that plagues his family.  He stands a better chance in this world than Kelsey ever did with that family.  Yes those are my opinions and i'm entitled to them the same as you are.  Be thankful I don't see the need or usefulness to write out my own "hypothetical" scenario.  You wouldn't like it, I'm quite sure.

Anyway, it amazes me at the amount of supporters of RD that do not read the documents or research this case for themselves, they just base their opinions, which is all they are, on what they are "told" or see in a youtube video.  They don't believe news reports but they believe youtube videos? LOL   OK.   But then I guess if they tho't for themselves, researched and read for themselves, they wouldn't be supporting poor raye dawn.  Either way doesn't matter, the truth will prevail, just as it has in EVERY court room this case has been heard in.   I hope Raye's not too excited about getting out and is crushed when she realizes and is told the truth.  I'd hate for her to have to be put back on suicide watch.  I for one would like for her to stay around and serve out her entire sentence.  But that's just me....
