Finally, some good news in this mess. According to someone who knows the people who have Blaine, Blaine HAS been officially adopted!!! This person said that his parents are good people and take good care of Blaine. I'm happy to hear that he is with good people and happy to hear he's been adopted. That's something that can't be undone.

But see, another big difference is that I never just "took Kathie or anyone's word as "gospel", I researched the case myself. I wasn't TOLD about it, and did not find out about it on a youtube video. I didn't read emails with someone's interpretation of them after every paragraph, I'm smart enough to know what was being done and said in them, and did not need someone's OPINION ONLY of what was going on or being said. And unlike you, just listening to what two sides have to "say" is NOT researching the facts of the case. There are ALWAYS TWO sides to things, sometimes even more sides depending on how many ppl are involved. And I will say if the emails are what sent you to the other side, then you ARE where you belong! We wouldn't have tolerated the outright lies and intentional misrepresentation of the facts on KP. Back to the emails. As far as they go, No, I wouldn't expect you to understand them, or why they were being written. However I do understand and didn't have to be TOLD WHY they were written. Secondly, the DA knew about the emails and thirdly, KATHIE turned them over to the DA on her own. I don't know who incorrectly told you that Kathie can't remember dates because she does...all of them, as shown by her testimony at different hearings.

Who's going to Free Kelsey & The Briggs From The Lies?
I try to not go to that facebook page they have for Raye Dawn, as it disgusts me every time I do. People who know very little about the facts of this case, always spouting off. People like Lysa Bartlett, who openly admitted that she had not read any of the documents, only watched youtube videos...trying to pretend to be an expert on the case and facts surrounding the case. Her in particular needs a quick course in Law 101. If she'd just learn the basics she would sound less ignorant. Porter cannot be recharged with Murder. No matter how bad ya want it, no matter how much ya wish & pray for it, it's not going to happen. It's a little thing called Double Jeopardy. Porter has been charged with murder and as a result of that charge plea bargained down and convicted. RD on the other hand, has not yet been charged with murder, but she certainly can be. For those too lazy to do their own research, I posted the legal definition of the word for you.
Misty & Lysa...you are right. It IS the beginning of the end of the lies. Every court hearing continues to show which side is based on the truth, which is why every court hearing does not turn out so good for your prison princess. I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting on her release. 20+ years is a long time to try to hold your breath.
Lysa, although I'm sure of who told you this & just as sure that you have never researched it for yourself, let me set you straight on yet another lie that you posted and apparently believe. The Briggs did not "force" the Smiths into paying for a seperate funeral. The Smiths didn't pay for ANY funeral, the Victims Fund paid for it, well, all but $10, and that was written off. "The Smiths" were the one's that were the cause of there being two funerals to begin with. Raye Dawn went the day after her child died to file an order to keep Kelsey's daddy & paternal grandmother from attending her funeral. They also told the funeral director that Kelsey's name was just Smith.
You post over & over that there is enough evidence to put Kathie in jail for the rest of her life. Get over it. There is NO evidence because she has NOT broken the law. Do you guys not have any faith in Stephen Jones? Don't you think if there were ANY evidence of Kathie committing a crime that he would have brought that up during court? Been all over the news demanding her arrest? Once again, your wishing it, does not make it fact. Now that she has been found guilty and has had time to make yet another story up...well people are going to see that for exactly what it is. She had her day in court. IF she withheld anything, that is her own fault, she can't just because she was found guilty, come back and say she knows more and will tell it if she's set free. That will definately lead to more charges.
I definately believe she knows more than she told, or will EVER tell for that matter. Telling the truth now, would only implicate herself even more, so we know we are not going to be hearing any TRUTH coming out of her mouth.

Maybe if you knew the true facts and saw all the pictures from that time period you would know why Kathie tho't Kelsey was going to die. She was dying right in front of all of them!! And Kathie wasn't the only one who noticed that, but of course you only bring up Kathie trying to make her out to be the evil person in this case when you couldn't be further from the truth. Sherri & Janet are becoming more vocal now....where exactly were they & their voices when Kelsey was going through all this horror? Not to be found that's where. They did nothing to protect or help that innocent, defenseless child, but they sure stand up for and defend RD don't they? Thank God Blaine is safe and in a good place. I for one would like for her to stay around and serve out her entire sentence. But that's just me....
Misty & Lysa...you are right. It IS the beginning of the end of the lies. Every court hearing continues to show which side is based on the truth, which is why every court hearing does not turn out so good for your prison princess. I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting on her release. 20+ years is a long time to try to hold your breath.

The Briggs did not "force" the Smiths into paying for a seperate funeral. The Smiths didn't pay for ANY funeral, the Victims Fund paid for it, well, all but $10, and that was written off. "The Smiths" were the one's that were the cause of there being two funerals to begin with. Raye Dawn went the day after her child died to file an order to keep Kelsey's daddy & paternal grandmother from attending her funeral. They also told the funeral director that Kelsey's name was just Smith.
You post over & over that there is enough evidence to put Kathie in jail for the rest of her life. Get over it. There is NO evidence because she has NOT broken the law. Do you guys not have any faith in Stephen Jones? Don't you think if there were ANY evidence of Kathie committing a crime that he would have brought that up during court? How is it people can preach the word of their LORD, Their FATHER in Heaven. The creator of ALL. Yet be judgemental in the next sentence? Not practice what it is they claim to believe in? I am confused.

Does that not mean the we need to practice what we preach and have a pure heart of Love and Forgiveness? Again I am confused.

There are many people who can read one book, the same book, and come away with different opinions. That is life. That is fact.
